Louise Kennedy...advertising starlet!
On my way back from the fantastical Zoot Woman gig last night, I picked up thelondonpaper and to my awe, discovered I was on the front cover! Huzzah! It was that shoot I went to with Myagency as an extra and there I am emblazoned on the cover of the paper like a true advertising lovely! I tried to circle my face in red for you to see, tis all a bit blurred really and doesn't look loads like me, but it really is! You can see my kitschy vintage bag and my wonderful skirt (which I am concerned they coloured in, along with the rest of my outfit, to make it less garish!)
If it wasn't for the sexy lovelies that are Zoot Woman, I would never have gone into London and picked up the paper in the first place and discovered my first bout of adland fame. What a fantastical day indeed!
Zoot Woman were fab by the way, despite the fact that they'd replaced the bassist with a woman, the distinct lack of merchandise table and an injury to my arm caused by some girl cigarette-burning me, they played my favourites and I was convinced the lead singer was staring at me! He'd probably seen me in the paper!

hi louise
oooof nice cover.. Beatrice has been in Zoot Woman for over a year now. She hasn't replaced Stuart as such, he's just been pretty busy making albums for Madonna....She is also Charlotte Hatherley's sister (who was in Ash but is now solo) it was a fantastic gig though.... and i thought jonny was a but distracted...hmmm
Huzzah! My first comment! I did look up this Hatherley situation this morning so that I was up to date. I was just expecting three men in white suits, it was a bit of a shock you see. It was a good gig indeed, I went there on my own like a lemon, so you would probably recognise me, I was drinking wine and wearing a stripey dress/curtain!
as my memory serves me stripey yes, curtain no.....so maybe you are being a bit harsh. I was however squashed against the monitor speakers down the front by the front three rows using my shoulder as a tripod for their amazing (not) mobile phone video footage.....any chance you know/caught the name of the support band ??
I am always a little harsh about my dress sense, only in jest really, it can get quite hilariously questionable. The support band were called Chow Chow...a quality name indeed! I actually didn't mind them which worried me a little.
