Karma vs. Kennedy

I had such a good weekend this weekend, it was amazing! Like other advertising types I really did understand the phrase 'living for the weekend'. Boats, beers, togas it was all good....until real life slapped me in the face this fine Monday morning.

I got an email from Beattie McGuinness Bungay this morning as they gladly said the usual schpiel 'It was a really tough decision, but unfortunately we won't be following up your application blah blah blah.'

This wouldn't be so bad if I didn't believe in my own awesomeness and if I was generally really crap, but I can honestly say that I was shocked and appalled. Why they don't want me is beyond me! So, in a strange stupor I shoved two ham sandwiches into my mouth on my lunch break from Farm and headed straight to Oxford Street to buy shoes, a perfectly rational decision I hear you cry. Unfortunately, I was thwarted once more as the shop only had one, yes ONE size 7 in my shoe of choice! I headed back to Farm feeling bewildered and shoe-less.

Now, if karma wants to have its evil way with me and defeat me into retreat in the advertising game or the world of shoe purchasing, it will have to do better than that! So if you see a passionate vintage starlet storming down Oxford Street this evening in search of what she duly deserves, that will be me! Louise Kennedy losing Faith? You must be mad!
